Updates from SunnyD on 12/7

My fellow minions... I'm sorry that I've let you down the past couple months and haven't been on. Therefore... I'm going to be resigning from my position as the Admin. I really need to concentrate on my studies right now.

As for the admin position... send me a note (ON MY ACCOUNT, ~SunnyDayz0691, ONLY) saying why you want to be the new one. Jinta, the original owner of the club, will pick one ortwo people for the spot.

I will be starting a new club to run, and will make it clear that it'll be update once monthly. It'll be a club for people who have made up their own characters, whether totally made-up or fan characters of another anime/manga. But I won't be making this until winter break starts. =] Hopefully everything will settle down a bit.

Again, I'm sorry that I've been doing a bad job as the admin for GF. I'm going to miss you all. =[

Contest! (Updated 10/14)

Current Contest: Sand Sibs

Ok, the contest is being extended AGAIN. It will end October 20. Between Oct. 21-31, you can note or comment on the piece you want to win. If you note, put the subject as "vote". Only vote once, and not for yourself if you've entered. If you vote for more than one, both will be invalid.

The theme is "Sand Sibs". Enter your artwork with Kankuro, Temari, and Gaara together! You can choose if you want them to be young children, teens, adults, elders, what ever! There is going to be a maximum of TWENTY entries. Once we get twenty submissions, or October 10 comes first, the voting can begin! The 1st and 2nd place winner gets an interview posted on their deviations. 1st place winner also gets their interview posted on THIS journal entry!

Also, the 1st place winner will be promoted TWO ranks. The 2nd place winner will be promoted one rank. (Read further down the journal, and you'll find out about the new ranking system!) Oh! And, you CANNOT vote for yourself. Sorry, guys.

Next contest: Nov. 1. The same basic rules will apply. Fifteen entries will be allowed. The ending date is still to be determined, but you will have at least until Nov. 15. The theme is "OMGWTFLOLZ", featuring Gaara with at least one other ninja (any one) from Naruto. The prizes will remain the same. More updates coming soon.

How to Join!

If you would like to join, please send us a note, with the subject "Join". We will add you to our list and note you back. Also, please watch us and put our icon in your journal so we can spread the love! Just paste : iconGaaraForever : in it with out the spaces!

Rankings

Our Ranking System: It's an organized list of members, their ranking depending on how many deviations they have let the club post OR how many contests they have won.

1. ANBU-- The highest level without being an admin. 9+ deviations and have special GaaraForever benefeits.
2. SpecialJounin-- Submitted 7-8 deviations.
3. Jounin-- Submitted 5-6 deviations.
4. Chunin-- Submitted 3-4 deviations.
5. Genin-- Submitted 1-2 deviations.
6. AcademyStudents-- This is where everyone starts when they join the club and haven't submitted anything.

Fanart

If you would like to submit some fanart, please send us a note with the subject "Fanart". Send us the link and we will do the rest.

Also, you PROBABLY will not get a response, your work will just be put up. THANKS TO EVERYONE who let us showcase your awesome artwork. There wouldn't be a club without you guys!

If you want your fanart to be taken down from the gallery, send a note and we'll take it down, no questions asked.

**NOTICE** Starting Aug. 1, I need everyone who has SUBMITTED fanart to note me, saying HOW MANY they have donated to the club. I have too much to do to go through and count. I have new fanart coming in all the time, also. These also INCLUDE contest submissions. I need to know so I can make sure the ranks are correct, I know that some people need to be promoted. IF YOU DO NOT SEND ME A NOTE EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, IT IS LIKEY THAT I WILL NOT UPDATE YOUR RANK. Thanks for helping out, guys.

When submitting a fanart or whatever, it MUST contain Gaara, it may contain anybody else, but it must have gaara in it.

Don't join this club just to flame Gaara fans, or Gaara for that matter. Please, ONLY join the club if you actually LIKE Gaara.
